MiraVacances is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. MiraVacances collects and processes personal data in accordance with the European Union Regulation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the institutions, bodies and agencies of the Union, and the free movement of such data (including the corrigendum to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC - General Data Protection Regulation).
This privacy statement explains why we process your personal data, how we collect, process and protect any personal data provided, how this information is used and what rights you have in relation to your personal data. It also provides the contact details of the data controller with whom you can exercise your rights and the data protection officer.
1. Why and how do we process your personal data?
Purpose of processing: MiraVacances collects and uses your personal data to build capacity, disseminate information, exchange experiences and best practices and, above all, to support business leaders and their companies in a harmonious and successful development.
2. The processing concerns :
- Requests received via the "Contact us" form: the information provided is temporarily stored in the functional mailboxes to which the questions are sent, and contains the (full) name, e-mail address and some other optional information at the user's discretion.
- Subscription to general or thematic/functional newsletters from MiraVances. The AcyMailing ™ services are hosted on the MiraVacances website and are used in conjunction with the Elastic Mail service to manage the corresponding mailing actions. Each email sent via these mailing lists includes an unsubscribe link and a contact address.
- Voluntary registrations for services (e.g. lodge reservations or information requests) on the MiraVacances website.
- Online purchase of stays via the VikBooking and e4J application hosted on the MiraVacances website.
- Other tools are also used which may leave traces depending on the configuration of your browser. The mapping system for the useful links of the surroundings uses the "My Maps" application from JoomUnited with GoogleMaps and OpenStreet Maps features. We do not store the corresponding personal information of users.
- Your personal data will not be used for automated decision making, including profiling on our part.
3. On what basis(s) do we process your personal data?
- Where the processing is necessary for the purposes of complying with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (e.g. a contractual relationship, whether free of charge or not).
- Where the data subject has given their consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (such as through voluntary registrations or online purchases as mentioned above).
- On the basis of a legitimate interest for inclusion in certain information lists when, for example, the person: has been met at a professional event related to the activity of MiraVacances; is a partner or co-participant with MiraVacances through cooperation projects, online booking platforms and their events; has communicated about the activity topics of MiraVacances through other social networks.
4. What personal data do we collect and process?
The main personal information is listed in the different sections below according to the tools.
Most of this information requires manual action on our part to correct or change its visibility. Data relating to distribution lists can be managed directly by the user.
5. How long do we keep your personal data?
MiraVacances only keeps your personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purpose of collection or further processing, namely:
- For the duration of the actions undertaken by the user/person from the site (data related to the contractual or administrative context may be kept until the end of the corresponding contract and its completion, plus any legal traceability period) ;
- For the duration of a MiraVacances event or action and the exploitation of their results and possible testimonies.
6. How do we protect your personal data?
As far as possible, all personal data in electronic format (e-mails, documents, databases, downloaded data batches, etc.) are stored on our servers (Internet or e-mail) hosted by papaki.gr, OVH and Elasticmail (see "Legal notice").
MiraVacances contractors are bound by a specific contractual clause for any processing of your data on behalf of MiraVacances and by the confidentiality obligations arising from the transposition of the General Data Protection Regulation in the EU Member States (Regulation "RGPD" (EU ) 2016/679).
In order to protect your personal data, MiraVacances has put in place a number of technical and organisational measures. Technical measures include appropriate actions to combat online security, the risk of data loss, and data modification or unauthorised access, taking into account the risk presented by the processing and the nature of the personal data processed. Organisational measures include restricting access to personal data only to authorised persons with a legitimate need to know for the purposes of that processing.
7. What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
You have specific rights as a "data subject" and in particular the right to access your personal data and to rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete. Where applicable, you have the right to erase your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to the processing and the right to data portability provided that contractual relations are not impaired.
You have consented to provide your personal data to MiraVacances for one or more of the processing operations listed on this page. You may withdraw your consent, subject to the contractual relationship, at any time by informing the data controller. The withdrawal will not affect the legality of the processing carried out before you withdrew your consent.
You may exercise your rights by contacting the data controller or, in case of conflict, the Data Protection Officer. If necessary, we will inform you of the existence of a dispute resolution mechanism. The European Commission provides users with an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, accessible via the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
When you wish to exercise your rights in relation to one or more specific processing operations, please provide their description (i.e. registration references and links) in your request. You also have the possibility to request changes to certain information or areas of application directly through the specific sections listed on the page below.

Our sites also use the following third party services:
- Anonymous data may be collected by Google Maps. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information.
- Google's reCAPTCHA Invisible system is used as an anti-spam protection service. As part of this service, the IP address of the user who answers the captcha challenge is transmitted to Google (in principle without any other information that could establish a personal link).
If you have placed orders online for holiday offers from Le Palmier de Mira or L'Olivier d'Alana
- The main personal data linked: Gender; First name; Last name; Organisation (not necessarily considered as personal data, and if the user wishes to make a reservation on behalf of an organisation); Telephone (not necessarily considered as personal data); IP address (not necessarily considered as personal data); e-mail (not necessarily considered as personal data); Age (to know if the Taker is of age or not).
- As well as some administrative information related to the contractual relationship (possible VAT number, type of offer ordered and its evolutions, price, purchase date, start and end dates), address, postal code, city and country of residence.
- Additional information, if any, provided on a voluntary basis by the user/Taker for booking complements.
- Testimonials freely provided by users following a stay may be recorded with certain information which may also be anonymised if necessary.
- Credit card data is not stored on our servers and we do not have access to it (the PayPal service can securely store this information).
Data provided directly through third party booking platforms are not managed by MiraVacances, Le Palmier de Mira or L'Olivier d'Alana. You must contact these platforms if necessary. - N.B.: For data relating to a contractual relationship, certain information must be kept for legal purposes. A request for modification or deletion of personal data may nevertheless be requested by setting up replacement data (another person responsible for replacement, for example) or anonymisation so that the notion of responsibility in the contractual relationship is maintained.
If you have subscribed to mailing lists or newsletters
The following personal data are managed via the AcyMailing application and the Elasticemail mail server:
- Gender; First name; Last name; Age; Preferred language of communication
- Subscription lists (thematic, general, promotional)
The sent e-mails always contain a link to unsubscribe from the corresponding distribution list.
If you have a user account
(with login and password, which is different from access with a reservation number or a customer login)
Personal data is restricted, but includes a history of interventions/actions on the site:
- User name; username, email address, IP address, preferred language of use of the site
- Date of account creation, last date of connection.
